It seems that the NB520 is not the only one 10 inch netbook Toshiba presented yesterday. This model has a smaller cousin called NB500. The Toshiba NB500 has the same case as the NB520 design. Both models are also available with lid colorful options. But while the NB520 is expensive and some premium features, including an atom processor dual core and Harman Kardon speakers, the NB500 has enough regular netbook with speakers netbook standard specifications.
There are conflicting reports about the exact specifications of the NB500, but I guess is that it has an Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz processor. Other specifications include 1 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive, a battery 6 cells and Wi - Fi 802.11b/g/n. 10.1 Inch display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
While the NB520 is able to load your gadgets by USB ports even when the netbook is disabled, the NB500 does not have this capacity.
