GALAPAGOS SHARP TABLETS NOW AVAILABLE IN JAPAN

Sharp began shipping its Galapagos tablets in the Japan. Tablets are now available for purchase in stores of computer science and electronics. There are two models – a sport a 5.5 inch display screen and the other sports 10.8 inch touch screen display.

While both models perform operating system Android, Sharp positioning devices such as ebook readers. Company offers also the ebooks, magazines, videos and other documents to store content.

5.5 Inch model runs 39,000 yen (approximately $ 475 USD) while 10.8 inch sells for 54,800 yen (US $650). No word on pricing or availability outside Japan, but it is unlikely that these devices will be same price tag when they are available in other countries.
