According to Nvidia, GeForce GT 540 M "offers a significant increase in bandwidth rates for filling and memory", while remaining range midfielder as effective as the previous generation of chip power. The GPU is based on 40nm production processes and has 96 CPU cores and memory 128-bit GDDR5 and DDR3 interface.
Graphics cores, CPU and GPU memory are timed to 672 MHz 1344MHz, more than 900 MHz, respectively.
Graphics GeForce GT 540 M supports DirectX 11, PhysX Nvidia Optimus, 3D vision, 3DTV Play and CUDA technology. They also support drivers Nvidia Verde.
The first laptops with new graphics are available in China. Worldwide availability is expected next month.
