RESPOND TO THE CR-48: THE FIRST CHROME OS NETBOOK

Google officially launched the first netbook designed to run Google chrome at upcoming operating system. The new CR - 48 is a portable computer from 12 inches with an Intel Atom processor. Not enough designed for the masses at this time. Actually, Google plans to distribute a limited number of units to interested clients and businesses give comments. To get a unit, you must apply to join the pilot program.

CR - 48 (CR - 48 is an isotope of the element chromium) has a full size keyboard and an oversized clickpad. It comes pre-loaded with Gobi 3 G chip Qualcomm wireless. At United States, the netbook will work with 3 G netbook the Verizon Wireless. Other features include dual band WiFi - 802. .11n ready and a webcam.

Google says that CR-48 get 8 + hours of battery life and 8 days of standby time. By the way chrome netbooks OS-based consumer should start shipping by mid-2011. Acer and Samsung are among the companies that are supposed to launch chrome OS running netbooks. While CR 48 has a 12 inch screen, the model to be launched by Acer will reportedly screen 10 inches and an Intel Atom processor.
