Google is working on chrome for close to a year. This is an operating system built around a browser lightweight. Because it is lightweight, it will start quickly and allow you to obtain online almost instantly. Cool, right? Yes, but there is a problem.
Google Chrome can run web applications. Unlike Windows, Linux, OS X or Android, it cannot run desktop applications, which means that it is completely unnecessary when you do not have an internet connection.
